We took a stroll towards the River Valley
and on to the Golf Course.
Grass, green grass!
Really!
A few days of warm weather
made the ground
on the southern slope
warm and dry enough
to rest on.
Bliss!
We enjoyed it as much as we could,
because
winter is not over, yet.
For the weekend,
when "Spring" is supposed to begin,
fresh snow is predicted.
A few centimetres or more!
I shouldn't complain at all, compared with the situation
on the East Coast, where people are battling
huge amounts of snow for months.
Some got 13' (4m) by now.
And counting!

Ich hatte fast vergessen wie es ohne Schnee aussieht.
Im Garten ist das weisse Zeug auch schon heftig geschmolzen.
Heute sind wir mal wieder zum Golfplatz gegangen. Nach ein paar Tagen mit warmen Frühlingswetter war der Boden auch trocken und warm genug um einen Moment darauf sitzen zu können.
Grass, grünes Grass. Wie schön!
Aber leider sind für's Wochenend schon wieder
ein paar Zentimeter mit Neuschnee angesagt.
Eigentlich darf man nicht klagen,
vergleicht man die Situation mit der an der Ostküste Kanadas.
Die kämpfen schon seit Monaten mit dem Schnee.
Bis zu 4m liegen in einigen Gegenden.
Und noch kein Ende abzusehen.
Schrecklich!
