Things are moving

Or better - we are moving, 

again.

This is the last week as "house-sitters" and

 I started the packing procedure.

If you wonder how in the world I can remember all 

that is "ours" after all these weeks?

I thought of that long before. 

I got the idea to use 

colour dots 

to mark"our things". 

                                        

That makes it easy.

The last days will be busy giving the house
a final cleaning. 

Another  time is running out as well.

Today was the last day that the public

was allowed to walk across the golf course.

From tomorrow on we all have 

to walk around the premisses.

Molly and I are prepared. 

All winter long 

I walked her at least an hour,  

every day. 

That way we build up our stamina, 

and are now able to walk all around 

from bridge to bridge, 

about 3 km (1.8 miles). 

That was my goal since we got here.

Lots of dogs were exercised on the grounds

all these winter months. 

 Molly met with a few of them on a friendly basis.

We will dearly miss these surroundings. 

Back at where the camper trailer is parked 

our walks will be considerably shorter, 

and in less desirable surroundings.

The next thing to look forward to is 

the return to our own home on Campobello. 

Before long I will have to pack again 

and get ready 

for the long drive eastwards.

If I think about it -

my life seems to be all about

moving from one place

to another.

Wir sind mal wieder dabei umzuziehen. Die letzte Woche unseres Haus-sitter-daseins ist angebrochen und ich habe angefangen zu packen. Um es leichter zu machen habe ich, schon vor langer Zeit, alles was uns gehört mit farbigen Punkten markiert. Die letzten Tage werden mit Großreinemachen verbracht.

Ab morgen darf man auch nicht mehr über den Golfplatz spazieren. Von nun an muß man drumherum laufen. Deshalb haben Molly und ich den ganzen Winter geübt. Nun können wir die ganze Strecke, von Brücke zu Brücke, laufen. Das sind etwa 3 Kilometer.

Molly hat in der Zeit hier einige Hundefreunde gefunden.

Wir werden die schönen Spaziergänge und die Begegnungen vermissen. Dort wo der Campingwagen geparkt ist können wir nur kurze Stecken gehen, und die Umgebung läßt auch zu wünschen übrig. Aber wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Ziel, unser Haus auf Campobello.

In ein paar Wochen kann ich erneut packen und mich auf den langen Weg nach Osten machen.

Wenn ich es so recht überlege -

mein Leben scheint nur aus 

Umzügen zu bestehen.
