What is going on?

January is nearly over, time is running faster it seems. 

Not much is going on.

A week ago we had a full day with heavy rain. 

Big puddles everywhere 

and for several days everything was shrouded in fog. 

Around the same time I was hit with a nasty respiratory virus

that left me out for the count for over a week with a fever and a nasty cough. Testing for Covid came twice up negative, though.

Luckily J.P did not catch it and by now I seem to be on the mend. There is not much walking at the moment, only shorter distances 

because I still get breathless. They say it takes up to three weeks to get rid of the infection. We will see and hope for the best.

Translation for my German readers

Der Januar ist bald auch schon wieder vorüber. Vor einer guten Wochen hatten wir einen ganzen Tag lang Dauerregen und wir waren

wir von allen Seiten von großen Pfützen umgeben. Die Feuchtigkeit brachte uns auch mehrere Tage mit dichtem Nebel.

Gleichzeitig wurde ich von einer starken Bronchitis ausser Gefecht gesetzt. Es scheint kein Korona gewesen zu sein den beide Tests 

waren negativ. Glücklicherweise hatte sich J.Peter nicht angesteckt und jetzt bin ich auch schon wieder auf dem Weg zur Besserung.

Allerdings sind noch keine langen Spaziergänge möglich, ich komme immer noch zu schnell ausser Atem.

Aber es wird schon werden, man muß Geduld haben.
