They got the unfortunate German lady out of the ditch the day after. 

A tow truck came and pulled her out. Lucky her.

We are not so lucky. The part arrived on Saturday and was put in on Monday. So far, so good. But when they looked for the security pin to give it the final touch - there was none.

The company that sent the part had not added it to the package. Ok. No problem, one more day to wait, right? The pin was ordered and should come with overnight courier. Today - no pin had arrived. 

Either they have not shipped it, or it was the wrong one, we don't know. The only thing we know is that the van is not ready yet.  This is nearly unbelievable.

Tomorrow we get last chance to get it done before Thanksgiving holidays are upon us.

Ein Abschleppfahrzeug hat die Deutsche Urlauberin am nächsten Morgen rausgezogen. Sie hatte Glück. Für uns hat sich aber nichts geändert. Das Ersatzteil wurde zwar am Montag eingesetzt, aber dann fehlte ein Sicherheitssplint. Der war nicht mit der Packung gekommen. Nun ja, dann eben noch einen Tag warten. Das Teil wurde nachbestellt und sollte über Nacht geliefert werden. Heute - nichts. Entweder war der Auftrag nicht erfüllt worden oder nur ein falsches Teil am Lager, jedenfalls ist das Auto noch nicht fahrbereit. Das ist nahezu unglaublich! Morgen, Mittwoch, ist die letzte Chance es noch in Ordnung zu bringen bevor das Erntedankfest alles lahm legt. Wir drücken alle Daumen!
