Up and down the ladders.
A few days ago we went to Racoon Beach.
There is a very steep ladder that provides access to the water.
No problem for Dixie.
"Are you coming?"
While walking along we can see signs of erosion everywhere.
Heavy north-eastern storms have been tearing away big parts of the land.
Trees are falling down the cliff or hanging at a precarious angle.
A short walk further we reach another ladder.
Here we climb up to Con Robinson's Point.
On our way back I take some photos from a part of Lake Glensevern
that looked way different three days ago.
The weather has turned cold and the lake is frozen over.
On the way back we saw a Ruffed Grouse in a tree.
Photo was taken while driving, otherwise the bird would have seen me and flown away.
"..and a partridge in a pear tree"
came to my mind.
Soon it will be Christmas again.
Looks like you are keeping Dixie busy while Peter is away.
