Finally! Finally!
The long, cold spring weather pattern seems to be broken.
The weather is warming up and a good sign that we are entering summer is
my lilacs are blooming.
Two weeks later than usual but they are blooming!
This afternoon a took a short walk around Southern Head
enjoying the fresh green
and the view over the wide, blue Bay of Fundy.
The beaches seemed empty but I spotted people here and there,
even a group of people having a picnic.
Another beautiful view were a patch of wild rhododendron,
(Rhodora Rhododendron canadense)
A Flycatcher was watching us.
